So my mother sent me on the ice for the very first time then. When I was 12, 13 years old, I wanted to switch to ice hockey, but I’m glad that my family talked me into continuing with figure skating. I’ve never regretted it.
Meanwhile I left my long-time coach Ilona Schindler and moved to Berlin to Viola Striegler.
